Club América, the current Liga MX champion, to face Santos Laguna in Houston

PRIMETIME Sports has announced that everything is ready for Club América’s friendly match against Club Santos Laguna in Houston, TX. This game marks the end of Tour Águila 2018 as well as the celebration of both teams’ 2018 championships, with Club América being the most recent champion.
The game will take place at BBVA Compass Stadium, home of the Houston Dynamo of Major League Soccer on Saturday, December 29th at 4:30 p.m. CST. The match marks the first time the teams face each other in Houston. Alberto García Aspe, former Club América player, who also enjoyed a stellar career with Mexico’s National Team, will be the one doing the coin toss to officialize the start of the match. It is recommended to arrive early to avoid delays. No purses or backpacks will be allowed inside the stadium due to safety precautions.
There will be a Fiesta Futbolera outside the stadium starting at 12:30 p.m. where fans from both teams will be able to view their team’s championship trophy, official mascots, live music, food, interactive sponsor activations, as well as an autograph session by Alberto García Aspe.
